Floor 124, 125 or Floor 148? Is the costlier ticket worth it?
Visiting the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa offers an unparalleled view and a more exclusive, luxurious experience. However, this comes at a premium price and with a time constraint.
If budget is a major factor or you prefer to spend more time soaking in the views, Levels 124 and 125 provide a fantastic alternative without compromising on the breathtaking panorama of Dubai.
We list some of the differences which can help you decide:
Price: While At The Top Tickets (Levels 124 & 125) cost AED 179, the ticket that gets you access to the 148th floor as well is priced at AED 399. That’s a premium of more than AED 200.
Exclusivity and Crowds: Level 148 is a “luxury” and “premium” experience, with fewer visitors compared to the more accessible Levels 124 & 125. This translates to a quieter, intimate experience with the views.
View: Both levels provide panoramic views of Dubai, but Level 148, the highest observation deck in the world at 555 meters (1821 feet), boasts an even more expansive and breathtaking perspective.
Amenities: Level 124 offers basic amenities like a souvenir shop, a café with beverages, light meals, and interactive telescopes. However, Level 148 elevates the experience with a luxurious lounge area with comfortable seating and complimentary refreshments, including Arabic coffee, baklava, and hot beverages. You also qualify for personalized service from guest ambassadors who provide guided tours.
Time Limit: While you can stay on at Levels 124 and 125 for as long as you want, the tour duration on Level 148 is limited to 30 minutes only.
Prime hours vs non-prime hours
While booking your Burj Khalifa tickets, you must choose between prime and non-prime time tickets.
Prime hours align with Dubai’s stunning sunset times, which is why tickets for slots during these times are much in demand.
With many locals and tourists wanting to see Dubai views during the sunset, prime-hour tickets are also slightly costlier than non-prime-time tickets.
Non-prime hours fall outside these sunset slots and are ideal for a quieter experience at a more economical price.
Although the non-prime hour views are different from the stunning sunset views, they are equally mesmerizing in their own way – whether in the early morning light or as Dubai’s skyline sparkles at night.
Ticket Type | Timings | Time Category |
